THIS IS THE ROTARY CLUB OF CAMELFORD

Camelford is a small town, steeped in history and is situated on the River Camel in North Cornwall.
The A39 passes through the centre of the town making it an ideal base for touring the county.
The attractive villages of Tintagel, Boscastle and Port Isaac as well as Bodmin Moor are all within easy reach.  Nearby Slaughterbridge has two historical claims to fame, as the site of a major battle between the Cornish
and the Saxons in 823AD and as the place where King Arthur was buried in 542AD.

Rotary International - Service Before Self

The object of Rotary is:

  1. The development of acquaintance as an opportunity for service
  2. High ethical standards in business or profession; the recognition of the worthiness of all useful occupations and the dignifying of each Rotarian of his occupation as an opportunity to serve society.
  3. The application of the ideal of service in each Rotarian's personal, business and community life.
  4. The advancement of international understanding, goodwill and peace, through a world of fellowship of business and professional persons, united in the ideal of service.
